Many legends persist throughout the Forge about the Precursors. Who were they? What happened to them? The tidbits of information and technology offer a tantalizing glimpse into a science and understanding of the universe that humanity has never before imagined.

Whoever can first unearth a true understanding of Precursor technology will become incredibly wealthy, but one group of corporate overlords hopes for something more.

They hope to unlock the keys to immortality.
